What do you think about homework? I think homework is good for students. I believe that homework is helpful since it is a type of review of what the student has learned. Also I find it to be a type of discipline. Those are few of the many reasons homework is helpful.
Homework is like a review of what the student has learned. By going home and doing the work, the student has a constant idea of the lesson. Also if the student has forgotten what they are learning they can look at the homework and remember. Without homework the student could forget everything! We don't want that to happen! So homework is good for students.
Another reason that homework is important is that it is a type of discipline. It teaches students to be responsible, manage time, and overall discipline. Homework is away of disciplining a child. For example if the student doesn't do the homework they get punished. If the student does do their homework they get praise or treats on occasion. So if you want the children today walking around town smart and disciplined then students should get homework.
Although students say that it's a waste of time, it really isn't. If there wasnt any homework students would go home not remembering anything they learned that day. Also even though students say that they had stayed up late the night before, it's their fault for waiting till the last minute. They could have done it after they got home. Even if they weren't at home, if they had what they needed they could have done the assignment.

Against Homework Should homework be abolished from all schools? Yes! To many people homework is helpful and to other people it's a waste of time. One more reason why homework should be gone is that it is a waste of paper and we all know paper kills trees, and trees gives us oxygen which means homework is killing us. John Blackstone thinks that the children need time to play and use their time wisely with family and friends. Parents have been complaining about too much homework for their children according to John Blackstone. Stressing out students with homework isn't worth risking their grades.
